Told through an Australian truck driver following in his father's footsteps, this brand film treats Kenworth not simply as a manufacturer, but as a brand woven into Australian working life and families.
Kenworth occupies a rare place in Australian transport. Built in Australia to endure its uniquely punishing landscape and climate, these trucks have won a place in the hearts of many Australian trucking families. To anyone who knows it, the Kenworth brand is truly a national icon. Kenworth's dominance of the Australian heavy-duty market is sustained by the kind of brand loyalty that only comes from decades of reliability and pride of ownership.
I fashioned this piece from over 12 hours of footage, shot over three weeks in a dozen locations. I composed an original score using live instruments and custom truck noises.
It never ceases to delight us how sincerely the Kenworth staff love Kenworth trucks. And once you've been brought into that world, as we have been through years of working with them, you start seeing Kenworth trucks on every Australian road and the Kenworth brand throughout Australian culture.
